TRUE FIXION  real time serial pulp

In the tradition of pulp fiction novels TRUE FIXION brings action, drama and smoldering sexuality to the iPad. Incorporating the best the tablet platform has to offer, TRUE FIXION puts a twist on the “ripped from the headlines” concept that has powered writers from Shakespeare to those who bring us CSI each week on TV.

Launching from a real life news story presented on the iPad via an RSS feed, TRUE FIXION episodes take off in a parallel reality that is part graphic novel, part real time conversation.  As the real life story unfolds,  our tangentially related characters react within TRUE FIXION storylines.

The iPad app pushes you news feeds of the real life story and sends you the parallel episode at the same time. All True Fixion characters “live” in real-time. They Tweet, they have Facebook pages, they check in on Foursquare…Could it be a clue when a character checks into a particular nightclub? Can you be sure what is TRUE and what is FIXION?

Social media used in this manner provides an entirely unique way for fans to engage in the story. It is truly a new way of storytelling.
